About Triptish Ghose: Prof. Dr. Triptish Chandra Ghose MBBS, PhD, FACC, FESC, FRCPE, is a professor of Cardiology and former Principal of Mainamoti Medical College, Cumilla. He is a renowned Cardiologist in the country. Prof. Ghose graduated (MBBS) from Chittagong Medical College and did his Diploma in Internal Medicine from Tashkent State Medical Institute and PhD in Cardiology from The Scientific Research Institute of Cardiology, Tashkent, Uzbekistan in 1992. He became Fellow of American College of Cardiology in 2005 and Fellow of European Society of Cardiology in 2006 for his outstanding contribution in the management and Research of Cardiovascular diseases. He also did FRCP from Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 2007. He has a number of scientific research papers which published in different national and international journals. He actively took part and attended many national and international seminars and conferences in different countries throughout the world. He also writes regularly about heart health in local and national daily News Papers. He is the author of eleven books including six heart health related books and three books of verse. Dr. Triptish Ghose is the founder of Heart Care Foundation Comilla, Bangladesh, a Centre for Cardiac Care, Prevention, Rehabilitation and Research with the mission of “Healthy Heart for a Long Active Life”, which is a member of World Heart Federation. Through this organization he is rendering free medical service to the numerous needz heart patients. Dr. Ghose involved in Rotary as a member of Rotary Club of Comilla. He also served Rotary International in different positions in Club & district level. He is actively involved in Rotary’s Polio plus movement. He awarded with a Gold Medal for the TRF Polio plus contribution. He recognized as Paul Harris Fellow (PHF), Benefactor (B) and Major Donor (MD) from The Rotary Foundation. Dr. Ghose achieved “COVID-19 Hero Award” for his commendable and selfless work at the time of COVID-19 crisis. Despite of his scientific and medical background, he has not lost his human touch as he’s been blessed with a vision and sight that encompasses the normal life, a born poet and an avid observer, he has authored 3 books of poetry in Bengali and has a good command over Urdu and Hindi as well. His writings are predominantly influenced by the beauty of the nature, human sensibility, culture and most frequently by the time and environment of the place in which he lived. Besides this, his poems also focus on the events from his personal life, which gives the reader an authentic and relatable perspective. His works embodz a harmonious blend of professional insight and personal experiences, making them both inspiring and thought provoking. Dr. Ghose’s deep understanding of human emotions, combined with his appreciation for cultural diversity, resonates strongly in his writings. He often weaves narratives that highlight the resilience of the human spirit, the importance of compassion and the interplay between tradition and modernity.

Dr. Triptish Ghose is the youngest son of late Jyotirmoyee Ghose and late Kshitish Chandra Ghose from a distinguished Hindu family in Tangail, Bangladesh. He is married to a Poet & Sonologist Dr. Mallika Biswas FRCP, Past District Chairman (2022-23) of International Inner Wheel District 345, Bangladesh and blessed with two daughters and one son.
